At Zippora’s in-house workshop in Bayreuth, high-quality bridal jewelry is created—lovingly crafted by hand. The collection ranges from delicate stud earrings to dainty necklaces and modern back necklaces, as well as unique hair accessories and eye-catching statement earrings. All pieces are made from select materials and are designed to complement various styles, color schemes, and wedding dresses.
Special attention is paid to customization: Many designs are available in multiple color variations and can be modified in color or style upon request. This ensures that every piece of jewelry blends seamlessly into your wedding concept. At the store—which features an integrated showroom in Bayreuth—you can expect personalized advice tailored to your individual style. What pieces of jewelry are part of a classic bridal look?
In the past, classic bridal jewelry often consisted of a simple pearl necklace, small stud earrings, a subtle bracelet, and a hair comb—an understated set that complemented the white dress and was chosen to be rather uniform. Today, however, individuality is in demand: Every bride designs her look to be entirely her own. There are numerous styles—from boho, vintage, and modern-minimalist to romantic and whimsical or glamorous and elegant. Our jewelry is designed to support this diversity and blend seamlessly with any style concept. Do you offer custom-made pieces, and how do you find the right piece of jewelry to go with a dress?
Yes—customization is a central part of our concept. Many styles are available in gold, silver, or rose gold and can be freely combined using the “mix and match” approach. Changes to length, colors, or the type of pearls can also be made easily. Whether in our showroom in Bayreuth or during a digital consultation via email, we provide personalized guidance throughout the selection process—focusing on the wedding dress, hairstyle, neckline, color scheme, and your personal preferences. Our goal is to design a piece of jewelry that perfectly complements your dress and personal style—while remaining versatile enough to be worn long after the wedding.
What role does sustainability play in your production?
For us, sustainability begins with quality, durability, and custom craftsmanship. Many of our pieces are crafted only after an order is placed—this prevents overproduction while allowing us to cater to individual preferences. Our entire collection is handcrafted in Germany—not mass-produced items, but one-of-a-kind pieces with personal value and soul. Our designs are timeless and feature high-quality craftsmanship—resulting in jewelry that can be worn long after the wedding day: as a stylish everyday accessory, a festive piece, or a cherished keepsake. Our 3-in-1 and 2-in-1 designs are particularly well thought out: for example, our back necklaces can be worn as simple necklaces after the wedding. Upon request, we’ll convert the back piece into a matching bracelet free of charge. The idea behind this is that bridal jewelry shouldn’t be something that ends up in a drawer, but rather a lasting companion with sentimental value.
Do you also offer jewelry for maids of honor, bridesmaids, or mothers of the bride?
In addition to bridal jewelry, we also create matching pieces for the entire wedding party. All designs in our shop can be customized in different colors. For example, the maid of honor can wear the same earrings as the bride—but in a color that complements her own look. The bridesmaids can also all receive the same bracelet in the wedding color—as a stylish, symbolic detail and a thoughtful gift. Whether tone-on-tone or as a deliberate accent, our jewelry offers a variety of ways to harmoniously complement the guests’ outfits and create a cohesive overall look.
