How would you describe your photography style?
My photos are natural, serene, and timeless. I’m not interested in staged perfection, but in genuine moments—just as they feel. I capture what happens between those moments: glances, touches, emotions.
We feel self-conscious in front of the camera—is that a problem?
Not at all. Most couples don't pose for the camera on a regular basis—and that's exactly what I focus on. It's important to me that you feel comfortable and can just be yourselves. I'll give you a few gentle prompts, but nothing will feel forced.
What's important to you when it comes to a wedding?
So that you can truly experience your day. I stay in the background, observing and capturing authentic moments—without interrupting what’s happening. The most beautiful photos are taken when you’re fully in the moment.
What if something doesn't go according to plan at our wedding?
Hardly any wedding goes 100% according to plan—and that’s totally okay. Often, it’s the unplanned moments that create the most beautiful memories. It’s important to me to bring calm to these situations and respond flexibly, so you don’t have to worry. Whether it’s the schedule, the weather, or last-minute changes—I adapt and work with what’s there. This results in authentic, candid photos full of emotion that capture your day exactly as it felt.
Can we get to know you before the wedding?
Absolutely—that’s actually very important to me. Your wedding is a very personal day, and I’ll be there with you during many intimate, emotional moments. To make sure you feel truly comfortable, we need to click—not just photographically, but on a personal level as well. That’s why we’ll get to know each other in a relaxed setting beforehand—either via video call or in person, if the opportunity arises. During this time, we’ll talk about you, your plans, your vision, and everything that’s important to you. Feel free to ask me any questions you have on your mind. At the same time, you’ll get a sense of how I work and how I’ll be there for you on your wedding day. It’s important to me that you feel seen and understood, because that’s exactly what leads to honest, natural photos later on. Many couples tell me after our initial meeting that they immediately feel more at ease—and that’s exactly the goal. On your wedding day, you shouldn’t feel like you’ve “booked a photographer,” but rather that you have someone by your side whom you can trust. If you’d like, a pre-wedding photo session (e.g., a couple’s shoot) can also be a great way to get used to the camera.
