Kate is a wedding photographer from Munich with over 16 years of experience. Her camera is her constant companion—so much so that she can hardly remember the last time she went out without it. After high school, she had two passions: biology and photography. At first, she decided to pursue a master’s degree in botany, but ultimately, she was drawn to photography. Today, she even benefits from her studies—she recognizes every flower in a bridal bouquet and has a special eye for nature and her surroundings.
For Kate, photography is more than just beautiful pictures. It’s a mirror, a way to show what really matters. Sometimes she uses her images to tell a quiet, almost documentary-style story set in the city. Other times, she captures a little adventure, like an elopement in the mountains—in these moments, her photos look almost like something out of a fairy tale.
No matter how you want to write your story: For Kate, every story is unique. Her job is to capture it in such a way that you’ll still recognize yourselves in it decades from now. Often, she says with a laugh, she hears from couples: “You manage to make even my partner forget the camera.” Maybe, she says, that’s exactly her superpower—creating a relaxed atmosphere where you can just be yourselves.

How would you describe your photography style?
That's a tough question! I'd say my style is documentary and timeless, with a focus on genuine emotions. To me, photography is like a time machine: I want my photos to transport you back to that moment even years later and evoke the same feelings you experienced on that day.
How do you work on the wedding day?
I’m here to tell the story of your day without staging it. During the lively moments, I stay in the background and capture what happens naturally. But when it’s time for portraits or if you need a little guidance, I’ll take the lead—always in a relaxed and natural way. I’ll also pay attention to your guests and am happy to take portraits of them. At the same time, I’ll ensure the highest technical quality for your photos throughout the entire day—from getting ready to the evening.
How many photos will we get?
Lots! Not specific enough? Okay, fair enough. On average, you'll get between 40 and 70 edited photos per hour that I shoot.
Do you sell albums?
Absolutely! I think your photos deserve more than just being screensavers or Instagram posts—they should tell a story. And what could be better than having them in a book that can be passed down through generations? I’d be happy to tell you more about photo albums on my website or in person.
