The Almbad Huberspitz combines rustic charm with modern comfort—ideal for an unforgettable wedding. Located at an elevation of 1,100 meters, the venue can accommodate up to 85 guests and offers a breathtaking panoramic view of Lake Schliersee and the Alpine mountains. Right where the Hausham and Schliersee districts “meet,” couples can exchange vows in a civil ceremony. Outdoor or church weddings are also possible—on the alpine meadow, surrounded by idyllic nature. And the light-filled winter garden is also available as a dedicated space for civil ceremonies—year-round and in any weather.

In cooperation with the municipality of Hausham, it is possible to have a civil wedding ceremony at the Almbad Huberspitz—surrounded by the tranquility of the mountains. The alpine hut is one of the few that still manages entirely without a parking lot. Instead, the day begins with a roughly 30-minute walk to the hut, while your luggage is transported ahead of time. It’s an idyllic start to the day, filled with an appreciation for nature and true values. For guests who have difficulty walking, a shuttle is of course available—so that truly all guests can join in the celebration.

A special highlight ensures a relaxing time at the Almbad: a rustic sauna and two on-site hot tubs invite the bride and groom and their guests to unwind and enjoy themselves!

For complete information, Almbad Huberspitz provides a few additional notes regarding booking the venue at Bayrischzell: Civil wedding ceremonies take place exclusively in the winter garden. Friday special (without overnight stay): Civil wedding ceremonies followed by an organic lunch and coffee and cake are available on Fridays. Check-out is no later than 4:45 p.m. Another wedding ceremony may take place before or after yours. A minimum interval of 1.5 hours is maintained between ceremonies to ensure privacy. The Berghaus is available for overnight stays and can only be booked in its entirety. It has 10 rooms with up to 30 beds (including extra beds). All rooms are heated; showers and restrooms are located on each floor.
