About Sezen Röder Weddings

Sezen Röder Weddings stands for modern and aesthetically pleasing weddings—weddings with a minimalist, luxurious character that go beyond the ordinary. Sezen plans weddings in and around Nuremberg, Munich, Stuttgart, and throughout southern Germany. Couples with special requests who dare to stray from the norm even just a little have come to the right place. There are no limits to begin with—only visions. The planner reinvents every wedding to create something special. For Sezen, luxury isn’t defined by ostentation, but rather by quality and aesthetics in a minimalist form. High-quality and distinctive design concepts combined with unique “wow” moments—that’s what makes a perfect wedding for her!

As a couple, you can book various packages with Sezen: from full planning (including a budget plan, day-of schedule, design concept, 100 percent vendor coordination, and more) to partial planning, all the way to smaller packages like venue scouting or wedding-day management—combinations are also possible. The best way to find out which package and combination suits you best is to work with Sezen during a free consultation.

Frequently Asked Questions for Sezen Röder Weddings

Who should hire a wedding planner, and who shouldn't?

I offer specific service packages tailored to the wide variety of needs that engaged couples have. It always depends on a number of factors, such as where you are in the planning process—whether you’re just starting out, in the middle of it, or nearing the end. It also depends on whether you’re very busy with work or personal commitments, where and when you plan to get married, and whether—and to what extent—you’d like to handle parts of the planning yourselves. However, a classic DIY wedding, where most vendors are friends or acquaintances, isn’t really the kind of wedding where it makes sense to hire a wedding planner. It makes more sense if you’re facing challenges you can’t handle on your own and if you want the support of an experienced professional to ensure everything runs smoothly. Even if you don’t have the time or inclination for endless research, I’m the perfect wedding planner for you. Every situation is different and should be approached on a case-by-case basis.

How much does it cost to have you as a wedding planner?

Unfortunately, there's no simple answer to that. To get a sense of your needs and where I can offer my support, I offer every couple a free, no-obligation consultation at the beginning to figure exactly that out.

When is the best time to book?

That, too, depends entirely on the package. For full or partial planning, it’s best to make a request 1–1.5 years in advance. The same goes for venue scouting—1 to 1.5 years in advance. The only service we can plan on relatively short notice is wedding-day management; ideally, this should be arranged no later than 6 to 8 weeks before the wedding date. And here, too, the rule is: exceptions prove the rule! Sometimes a suitable venue can still be found on very short notice. In those cases, a little more flexibility is often needed regarding the desired wedding date or month.

Do you also plan weddings abroad?

No. My service area is limited to Germany—more specifically, to Nuremberg, Munich, Stuttgart, and the surrounding areas, as well as all of southern Germany. This is where my expertise lies. This is where I know the industry and can provide my couples with sound advice.

What makes a wedding a success for you?

First and foremost: a relaxed planning phase! No one wants to start and end their wedding day feeling stressed and drained. For me, a wedding is a success when couples say to me, full of gratitude, “What would we have done without you!” That’s what validates all the long, hard work—which sometimes takes as long as one or two years. But when we’re talking about the wedding itself, the perfect wedding is one where the bride and groom can enjoy themselves, have plenty of time for their loved ones, the guests are blown away by the design concept, and there are at least one or two “wow” moments on the wedding day.
